This policy explains what PicksyStores collects when you shop on picksystores.com or in the Picksy Stores mobile app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your username and email address when you register, or your email address, first name and last name if you sign in with Google.
- Profile details — phone number and date of birth, if you choose to add them.
- Delivery addresses — recipient name, phone number, street address, city, state and PIN code for each address you save.
- Order information — the items you buy, the price you paid, any coupon you applied, and any note you add to an order.
- Reviews — the rating and comment you leave on a product you have received.
Information we generate
- Order history, including a snapshot of the delivery address as it was when you placed the order, so later edits to your address book never rewrite past orders.
- A sign-in token stored on your device to keep you logged in.
- Basic technical information sent by your browser or app, such as IP address and device type, used to keep the service running and secure.
What we never see
We do not collect or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV, or netbanking credentials. Online payments are handled entirely by Razorpay on their own screens; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the payment reference.
Why we use it
- To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
- To process your orders, take payment, and arrange delivery.
- To let you track a shipment and to contact you about it.
- To apply coupons and enforce their limits.
- To handle cancellations, returns and refunds.
- To show product reviews written by verified buyers.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share only what each partner needs to do its job:
- Delhivery — the recipient's name, phone number and full delivery address, plus the order value where the order is Cash on Delivery, so your parcel can be shipped and tracked.
- Razorpay — your name, email address and phone number to process an online payment and to power refunds.
- Google — if you choose Google sign-in, Google confirms your identity to us. Google's own privacy policy governs what Google does with that.
- Authorities — where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights.
How long we keep it
Account and profile data is kept while your account exists. Order records, including the address snapshot and payment references, are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is closed.
Your choices
- Access and correct — your profile, saved addresses and order history are all visible and editable in your account, on the site and in the app.
- Delete — write to us to have your account closed. We will remove your profile and saved addresses; order records we are legally required to retain will be kept, and will no longer be linked to an active account.
- Withdraw consent — you can stop using Google sign-in and remove saved details at any time.
Security
The site and app are served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Sign-in tokens expire and can be revoked by signing out.
Children
PicksyStores is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from them, and will delete any such information we become aware of.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the page and the "last updated" date at the top of it.
